Oliver, if my wife saw your toolbox I'm toast
I just made this tool cart and it doubles as my work bench outfeed/support. i did the top below sea level lol cause i wanted to swipe and dump small bench top items over incase i need a flat surface to work on. i had scrap carbon fiber and some metal tubing left over from a project so i made this with about 30 bucks worth of extras.then i got bored and pimped out my new sys combi
Here's my toolbox. My girlfriend and I get the keys to our new house on friday, and with it comes my first Workshop space. My systainers cant wait to get their own room!David
Thanks for sharing everyone, very cool pictures!@BadRobot You get extra credit because you shared something I have heard of, but never seen before. Very cool, thank you so much for sharing! Could you tell me a little about how the Tool Control System works?Kind regards,Oliver
Found a great video on Snap-On's ATC Level 5 - Just in case anyone else is interested. I definitely don't need it, but my pedantic heart screams *yeah* *yeah* *yeah* Maybe, just maybe, if I ever upgrade my box...Kind regards,Oliver

Did you make your own chisel role?
I think it depends on the job that you perform. I would requires airplane mechanics to use this system. I wish doctors in ER using this type of system so they did not forget surgery knife in patient bodies. LOL.

@BadRobot I also like 80/20 SYS Port. How are the shelves/drawers held in?
Got it, thanks...so you're just fastening the slides directly to 80/20 side supports?
Regarding that 8020 one, what's your method of making accurate repeatable cuts to the T slots? That looks great and hopefully you don't mind others borrowing some ideas!
There are 2 methods that I can think of.1. Buy t-slot from 80/20 with the length you need. So it is pre-cut and square with pre-tab and counter bore as option. Just kidding but it work if you don't do a lot of cutting, it might be cheaper.2. Buy aluminum blade and put it in TS 55 REQ. Then cut to specific length on MFT/3.
I think this is my first post on the FOG. Ive built this toolbox to bring the handtools I use in school everyday. I also bring a combi systainer with a cxs, hearing protection, drills, bits etc. Ive been a carpenter for 10 years, and back problems made me start in school again. If everything goes well, im an educated cabinetmaker/furnituremaker in march 2018. And now to the toolbox ! The box is inspired by Tom Fidgens Cabinetmakers Toolchest, from Unplugged Workshop. It is made from dansih oak and american walnut.
This is my "home" toolbox. In the workshop I have, 9 boxes!
