I attached them with some toggle bolts. Didn't want to put self tapping screws
Because the wedges are pretty thick on the bottom. The wegdes are more or less spacers to give support in the middle of the flat panels that the racking mounts to.

Yup! The flat panels are the only pieces that are mounted to the van "permanently". Everything else has just a few screws holding it from moving around.
