My 4th attempt at a wood shop. New meets old!

Hi everyone. Over the years I have built a few shops starting very small, through to now with a larger than average garage shop. I put together this video to take you on a "Tour" and also to explain a couple of quirky things about it and why a small dog is ever present. At the end of the video I share a special time in my life and the incredible inheritance I received when I was in my early 30's.

What a nice video. You shared so much of yourself on it I feel like we are mates.

It is a pleasure to work in this shop, or even have a glass of wine and enjoy the view. The inheritance was amazing.

It is clean because I am a messy person and know how quickly things just end up unusable. I am a hard taskmaster in the evenings to tidy up, even if I don't feel like it.
We can be mates, no probs at all. Glad you enjoyed the video. I try to do one a week.

Great video Dave.

I also watched you Kapex video earlier in the week, great job on that review too. Especially some differences between the 88 and 120 were made clear to me which weren't clear before.

I actually build something similar to your docking station (clicked on that link!  [big grin]) by getting the rail holders and a 1 meter profile and cutting it in half. Used it for working outside on a collapsible worktable. Your docking station however will be either the first or second thing I will make when I move my shop to something with more room! (read: from a bicycle shed to a 1 car garage...ah well)

Hi Amalix. First off, thanks for telling me about if the reviews I do are informative and useful.
Next, I wish you success with your shop upgrade to more real estate. The 2 metre long MFT is so very useful.
 I never can tell if the space I have will be the last or if it will grow or shrink as my situation changes as I go through life??  [unsure]

When youre feeling depressed just treat yourself to a systainer even if its a mini systainer its ok.

as a tool enthusiast i love to see how others organize their tools and utilize space in the shop. it calms me before bed time and gives me ideas and new inspiration! keep up the great work! ive subd your ch searching thru for kapex reviews :)

I have a few more reviews in the pipeline. At present I am building an item for my daughter's new home. Using the track saw, domino, 65mm plane, rotex and my 15 inch Carbatec thickness planner. Should be on my channel in a few weeks. Barry of course is helping out with Festool coloured earmuffs lol.
