I thought I was weird for wanting a Festool CT Midi in addition to the Fein Turbo II; since I rarely need two dust extractors.

I need the MIDI X 2 as one is 110V and the other is 240V, as the majority of my tools are 110V. Blame our stupid site rules, however the DF700 and ETS-EC150 are 240V only along with the majority of the sanders. I didn't want to have to manually switch power supplies and extraction constantly.

Of course that decision was made easier due to the fact that one of my nearby retailers had a MIDI and RTS bundle for £480, couldn't really pass that up.

Ah, that makes sense.

My thinking is the CT Midi comes with a 20A rated power cord that would allow me to run a saw through the switched plug on the machine. The Fein Turbo II has a 15A rated power cord and the switched plug on the machine is rated for 6A; sufficient for sanders but not enough for a saw.

I know!!!

Bread and butter income is from shopfitting, hence the proliferation of giant plugged tools. I have been doing cabinetry on the side now for about 3 yrs which is slowly growing. There seems to be a decent domestic market for custom builds and finding extra storage solutions where on off the shelf solution won't suffice.
