This fascinating video just popped up on my feed and I wanted to share. I usually drool over the beautiful pieces in their catalog and this recently posted video provides an amazing insight into one of the best American furniture makers. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Happy holidays!

Great videos but that one of the history of Carl Hansen, wow!

What an amazing woman, and the sheer guts it would have taken at that time.

Thanks for sharing, I only had time to watch the first one now, but it was very pleasant and interesting to watch, my father walked in halfway through and I didn't mind at all starting it over.

I love T Moser stuff. Stumbled upon one of their showrooms in San Francisco about 5 years ago where they had a good portion of their line on display, as nice as things look in catalog they’re better in person. Their designs are so straightforward and elegant.

Have borrowed a couple joinery details from them for my own projects.

This is a fascinating look inside a custom furniture maker in Maine.  A blend of new technology and old world skill and craftsmanship.  That would make for a fun tour.
