Title: Does the "Green Sticker" on the motor not qualifty for the recall?

I'm confused....if you read the recall info they contradict themselves.  First by saying the recall is for the TS55 REQ (561556), followed then by if your saw has a “green sticker” on the motor it doesn’t qualify for the recall.  My saw is new, just bought it 2 months ago, and yes it is the 561556 model, but it also has the green sticker.  I’ve call the recall help number to get clarity but after leaving 4 messages still no word back leaving me with not knowing if it is safe to use the saw or not.  Not very good customer service from a company that prides themselves on service and prices their product accordingly. 

Festool if you read this, and your too busy to handle the volume of call backs, maybe add the answer to your “Common Questions” section on your recall page so folks like myself don’t waste your time.

I can't follow your logic...

The facts presented say that the saw is only being recalled if there is no green sticker. Yours has a green sticker.

I just checked with Festool and as has been written , if there is a green sticker you are ok.  I know that quite a few of the staff at Festool are out of town for a National meeting this week so that in combination with some telephone issues may have contributed to the lack of them contacting you.  If Shane was here right now I am sure that he would send jos apologies on behalf of Festool.

Sorry for any confusion and for the lack of a response. I believe there was a problem with our phone system earlier in the week where many of our calls were going to a voice mailbox that wasn't being monitored but it has been fixed. I think it only affected calls for less than a day.
