I'm planning three tutorials:
1. Basics of taking pics
2. Basics of post processing
3. Modifying pics for the web and uploading
I had planned to start these this week, but I'm been massively busy. Here's a quick summary.
In general, the keys are to start with a decent pic (#1), post process it make it better (#2), and then downsize it to keep it within space constraints. The max size pic to attach is 225KB. My personal preference is to keep the pic at about 800X600 max so that it's viewable on all screens. If it's much larger than that, some people won't be able to fit see the entire image on their screens. Then, attach the image.
To crop and resize, my preference for a light-weight photo editor is PhotoShop Elements.
