This thing is ridiculously handy. I'll forget that I have it and then remember, "Oh Yeah!" A serious problem solver.

Nahh you did did you.. I want one too! One untethered one, and I did notice this ones release, seemed a bit pricey, but as you say it’s a problem solver. Please let us know how you like it in a while  [big grin]

The nozzle works incredibly well on carpet and hardwood. A big improvement over the well-used Fein it's replacing. One of my clients is a crazy cat lady who I know has some model of Roomba. Just to experiment I vacuumed an area rug outside my work zone. The difference was so noticable I had to vacuum the whole room. The rug didn't look bad before, but post-Wessel it looked much, much better.

Thanks for the input...that's also been my general impression. Pretty impressed with the results so far, I've been using mine with a 36 mm hose. And I'm way impressed with using it on black rugs that contain white dog & cat hair.

Just received one of these from the US. It’s OAINA it seems.

I’m very excited to stop hauling my compressor around as much. I typically used an 18g Brad nailer and initially thought the 35mm pin length too small to replace that, but on greater consideration decided that while less good for 10% off my tasks the pin nailer will actually be better for 90% of my uses with its smaller finish holes. Carrying a SYS1 around for my nailing  needs is gonna be sooo much nicer than that compressor.

Sadly I can’t use it yet as the tool got here faster from the US than the pin nails coming from the UK :)

I wonder if they meant 3 days to process and ship out your order.

8-9 days is impressive given the pandemic time we're living in. Many Amazon orders take 4 to 6 days to get from the States to Canada after they're placed.
Came a day early. 8 days - that’s pretty amazing.

3M Cubitron 125 mm sanding discs in a sample pack...pretty sweet. Note the "Not For Retail Sale" notice on the front of the package, now that makes sense because these things were only 30 cents each...that's what I'd call a loss leader.  [smile]

So Mother Mining offers a package of 3 each 80-120-150-180-220 film discs and a package of 5 each 240-320-400 film discs. If purchased in these 15 disc trial packages the 125 mm discs are 30 cents each, if purchased in normal 50 each quantities they are 90 cents each.

This allows you to figure out what papers you really need and will use. I also like that 3M is using a film based substrate as compared to a paper based substrate. The film based substrate goes back to 3M's experience with automotive finishing. It's supposed to provide a smoother, more uniform surface and is compatible with water.

These are the 3M part numbers for the discs...No Hole (NH) discs on the left and the Clean Sanding Discs (spiral hole pattern) on the right.

So here's the selection from 80 to 400.

18" blending curve and 6" hook rule from Lee Valley. Too bad that the longer hook rules are no longer available.

Hoy boy Matt...there were probably a lot of genuflections and "but honey" conversations going on for that acquisition. [smile]

But did you ever consider, maybe she just really wants her own FatBoy?

And don't leave out the custom closet...that's also part of the pact with or without the FatBoy and the Lamello.

I have a very nice Fat Bob (not Boy)

It's very custom although it might not look it. I went the Johnny Cash route. Engine, transmission, gearing, suspension you name it I did it and myself too. She has no interest in motorcycles. But surprisingly there was very little " but honey" thrown around for the Zeta. I said I needed it to finish the office and do her closet and that was that.

I made a sys port with the clamex and boy is it easy to use.

I got a second Kreg Multi-Mark.  I had been wanting to get another one for a while.

(Attachment Link)

I discovered that the left "holster" slot on my Veritas apron is the perfect location for my first Kreg Multi-Mark.  I'm really liking the apron!

(Attachment Link)

I got the Milescraft version from Amazon.com ($9.00) which is almost the same but has two level vials.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071RPGZM9/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I was concerned about the accuracy of the square, so I gave it to  our QC manager at work to put on the Nikon comparator.  He reported that the 90 degree was dead on, and 45 degree was off by less than  1/2 degree.  I think that is acceptable accuracy for woodworking.

All other functions are pretty much the same as the Kreg unit.  I did not test the Kreg unit so I don't know the accuracy of that one.

I ended up buying a Rabbit Air 2 to clean the air in my shop.  I wish I had bought it earlier, it works great and it is quiet. It really makes a difference.

Nice looking bike Matt... [cool] very  [cool]

The first thing that jumps out at me are the Michelins, they look similar to the ones my neighbor recently put on his 996 and 1100 Monster. Those tires look good on your bike.  [smile]

A friend of mine lived in a rough neighborhood and he had a Harley.  He would wash his bike in front of a neighbor's home who he disliked.

Often, the evening after washing the bike, the neighbor's garage would be broken into.  No Harley there though.   [big grin]

Oh man, look what arrived today!  [cool]  I feel like I am in an art gallery.   [drooling] Even the packaging is beautiful (fittingly they have used wood shavings as filler, not plastic).  [thumbs up]

I am sure I will enjoy using these (as soon as I find the time to spend in the shop, which has been too long).

I love this thing. A friend calls it the "BFPB": "big f'ing pattern bit". One of the few things I use that demands the OF2200.

Teak dowels for the teak furniture refurbish project. The teak furniture has 6 mm, 8 mm & 12 mm dowels so I purchased 3 foot lengths of 1/4", 3/8" & 1/2" diameter teak dowels. I'll need to turn them down to metric diameters on the lathe.

The prices were reasonable with 2-day delivery service. They also produce spindles and plugs in various materials.

Having been a tool junkie for longer than my kids have been alive little surprises my family regarding my tool purchases. However, I did surprise them today. As a result of this groups influence I have been aware of Wera for a number of years now. I hunt bargains and have put together a nice collection over that time. Today I learned about something I knew little if anything about before today. Wera makes Advent Calendars! Being raised Jewish I barely knew what an Advent Calendar really was let alone that Wera has made some almost iconic Advent Calendars since their introduction in 2010. To add to the ironic humor of this situation I ordered one today on Amazon Deal days for a great deal and it was the 2019 version. I am now officially a fan😊.

This afternoon I was at a local hardware store to get some locks and stuff, and saw they had a couple of viking arms.
They were at a discount in their folder for June, and I asked if they could still sell them at the discounted price.... and they did [big grin]
(It was a bit over 20% below the lowest price of the online toolstores, not like the fake stuff from the facebook adds)

Whoa! That router plane did I (not earned..) get from my gf - I love it. Getting the medium one to add soon. What a pleasure, fun and relaxing thing to use, besides being immensely effective doing exact work..

Check out this bag for those Japanese saws too:
