@jmbfestool sorry buddy, I was talking about the double up on the Lamello joining you did so you only had a hole on one side of the material .. then I was curious whether you were also thinking about playing with a Mafell dual dowel 40 as I've started to consider one now that I've expanded my thinking from just Domino to Zeta P2 and beyond.

Ahh yes. Modified lamelo doubled up. Dont know why Lamelo dont make fitting for the double up. I had to drill a hole through after taking the fitting apart to make it work.

Im not looking at the mafell because I dont want to spend more money lol.

I need to make mroe use of the lamello at moment its not really being used alot.

Mainly because the fittings are just to expensive. Standard unit size I would use 16 to feel its a solid unit now thats £10 in fittings. Mental!

Plus I cant cnc the groove so im having to second machine the parts by hand. So more time.

I have an on going job I would love to use lamello for customer has just ordered 100 more from me. To use lamello I need to use 12 per item 100 items thats 1200 fittings. £720 on fittings 🙀

I am using One drives for units and they are brilliant! Alot cheaper and fully cnc nestable on both mating parts. Only thing I have to so is tap them in an screw up.

I do love the lamello for mitre joints though brilliant!! I just wish they cut the cost on the clamex and I would use it alot more. For just plastic they are charging far to much.

I finally bought a SawStop PCS. I went with the 3hp, 52" T-Glide, industrial mobile base, and overarm dust collection. I seriously considered the industrial version and the Hammer K3.

Agreed. Everyone waxes poetic about their screwdrivers and hex keys, but it's their bits that never fail to impress me.
I could take or leave their screwdrivers. Actually, I do in fact take Wiha and ye ol' Facom Ergotwist whenever it ain't bits. :-0
The tips on the PB versions are the nicest, though. For hex, I use Bondhus, Wiha and PB, interchangeably. I'm not saying they're interchangeable. I'm just saying, they all work fine for me. :0

In another recent purchase I was able to complete my Bridge City Tool Works Japanese hand saw set with extra blades. The two burgundy saws I already had. The chisels are relatively new as well.

Bought a Ryoba double edge and a Gyokucho Dozuki razor saw, also bought two Festool rustic planer heads, the HK 82 RG and RF. Just received Freud triple bead and flute set. Spent the day setting up to make custom base moulding.

Hi,

Introduced in January, I ordered mine in February, and the first batch shipped last Monday (Germany, not sure about NA and ROW). Arrived today - the Spax Mini-L-Boxx.

And, finally I might add, also the 3,5 mm T-Star screws feature a T-20 drive. So no more changing between T 15 and T 20 on most projects. Great move if you ask me.

Included are: 3,5 x 16; 3,5 x 30; 4 x 35; 4 x 40; 4 x 50; 4,5 x 60 - overall 703 screws and 3 Bits T-Star Plus T 20.

The large L-Boxxes from Spax (102) are supposed to ship at the end of the month - but since I sold all my large L-Boxxes those aren't for me, anyway.

Ironically it's a Metric Set but most ratchets sold here are imperial to allow older imperial sockets to continue in use as required.

Not that they serve a real purpose other than identifying the tool (which could be a simpler label) and some sharp attention grabbing marketing. But I think those 2d / 3d cut out tool emblems on some of the Wera pouches are cool.

Yes Seth agree re cool, but unlike the tool set itself I do not expect the raised logo/tool image will outlast my remaining life time.

Just came today ................. this set of Craftsman regular size / longish handle short blade Torx drivers. AKA, Super Stubbies. New old stock Made in USA. T10 , T15, T20, T25. They just seemed like they might be handy.

The 1/2 drive set is almost exactly the size of the drawer in a sys 3 3drawer box
I did research this first

So my plan is to make a mechanical kit in a couple of sys drawer units. I have given my traditional type box to my son
