Triton Workcenter 2000
« on: July 16, 2007, 04:06 PM »
I just talked to Triton USA.  They have five Workcenter 2000 units in the warehouse in Montreal Canada.  They are asking $250.00 including shipping.  I ordered one so they have four left.  This is a discontinued item in North America. The retail price is about $400 to $450.  Trition USA says they will still warranty and support the Workcenter if you purchase it.

Contact George Caron, Triton USA, at 888.874.8661 if you are interested.

I also wanted some the accessories.  He is going to try to get them from Australia for me, if they are not available in Montreal.

For the price, if I don't like it, I figure I can sell it on Ebay for what I paid.

The smaller accessories might not be too much of a hassle for me to post from here if you really get your heart set on something. Plunge dealy-bobber or whatnots. Are they transitioning to the MK3, or is the 2000 the newer of the two? If so, there's going to be heaps of accessories here.

Workcenter 2000 is the newer model, improved MK3.  They are discontinuing the Workcenter in North America because of a lack of interest. I tried to tell them that their distribution system is terrible and Triton products are hard to find. Not sure if it did any good though.

I really appreciate your offer to post me the accessories.

Let me see how this goes before I impose on you.
