@Svar You should see this as a joinery jig for the tablesaw, as I say in video#2 I cut tenons more often than boxjoints. I set up a tenon cut under 30s and I know the tenon will be within 0.05mm of the target, in most cases better than that. I can set up a double tenon in about a minute, with the same accuracy.
I'm a part time pro woodworker and I never build jigs for the sake of it. I build to improve speed and/or accuracy.
When it comes to boxjoints, the only set up needed with my jig is pretty much to set the blade height and align the blade with the edge of my work piece. My jig and others using indexing/screws movement doesn't add up accumulative tolerances. Also I can cut multiple parts in one go which really speeds up the process.
I used a similar to the one in you pic for a 30cm boxjoints and the headache to tune if for the 30th finger to fit as good as the 5th or 10th...well.
The one in your pics is ok for smaller parts and set up should be quick if you buy the templates for it. It could be quicker making the actual cuts as it's lighter and easier to push.
