Metabo Detail Sander...Any Good??
« on: October 11, 2008, 10:50 AM »
The guy at my local shop has a used Metabo (didn't get the model #) delta pad detail sander which he's selling for $75. I looked around the net for a review, but couldn't really find one. It's the same style as the DX 93 E and has a dust control port.

Q's:

1. Is this sander any good?
2. If yes, is $75 a fair price?

The sander appears to be in pretty good shape and it works. I know some will recommend getting the DX or DTS, but I'm really trying to curb my spending right now on new tools. Right now I'm using an old Ryobi detail sander (the one with the adhesive pads) which is useless.

Any suggestions would be helpful.
Thank you,
Ken
