The height adjustment accuracy isn't great (I think it's 2mm per turn) but adequate for my needs. If I need high accuracy I'll back it down and then raise it again to the new height.
And I agree, the dust collection on the Triton isn't a patch of that of the OF1400.
What would you recommend to go in a lift?
Andrew
@Roseland I personally have the PC7518 but, as was already stated, I think, it's unclear whether this motor is available in 230V, if that is what you require. It is a very powerful motor and there is nothing I would ever have it do that it couldn't. Plus, the Incra lift (which I still believe is really a Jessem lift) is already set up as purchased from Incra just for this motor, so installation involves just setting it in place and tightening down the appropriate mounts.
In addition, the following router motors are compatible with this lift:
Porter Cable 7518, 690-699 series, & 890-899 series
Bosch 1617EVS,1618
DeWalt DW610 & DW618
Makita RF1101 & RD1101
Hitachi M12VC & KM12VC
Milwaukee 5625, 5615, 5616, & 5619
Craftsman 17543, 17540, & 28190
Rigid R29302
The Triton isn't listed, but it's possible that this list isn't complete. I don't know which other motors would also be available in 230V. I would think any of these would be OK, but would think the other PC, Bosch, Dewalt, Makita, and Milwaukee would be the best choices, depending on the HP rating of each and the needs of the user. However, the only direct experience I have with routers is Makita, PC, Dewalt, and Triton. (I did own a Ryobi and an old Craftsman at one point and, while they were OK, they weren't made for heavy duty use.)
