Anyone with experience with those buds can chime in?
I'm looking mainly for comfort and noise reduction.
Thanks!
ISO-IT14 - This is their new "true-wireless" earbuds called the FREE? Correct?
I purchased the FREE because I didn't like wearing glasses nor face mask with my ear muff style hearing protection. Plus I have an air filtered helmet for my wood lathe and a helmet for welding that don't allow use of muffs.
Pros:
-Sound quality is excellent.
-Very comfortable
-Very lightweight yet very secure in the ear.
-Bluetooth connects fast and has excellent range - maybe 40'-50' before I loose connection.
-Excellent battery life.
-Great ambient sound isolation.
-Case/charge is nice and small.
-Strange/new for me answering phone calls through the buds but works great.
-Can control functions from the ear buds.
-IsoTunes CS is excellent!
Cons:
-The maximum volume doesn't seem correct. I don't listen to music/radio/podcasts that loud but find I'm at the max. or one click or two down even in a quiet room. Using my Domino XL with dust collection I can still hear the music easily at max. or one click down. These are limited to 85dB but I had a chance to try their Pro 85dB limited headphones and they play MUCH louder than these. CS is great, since this is a new product they are having me send these in to measure the dB of my FREE in their lab. (I like these so much even if they say they are fine I can live with it.)
-Inserting them takes a little experience and time. They include 3-sizes of memory foam tips. They are like ear plugs in that you need to compress them and let them expand in your ear for 5-10 seconds.
-This is a con for all memory foam type isolation - if my wife comes out to talk even though you can pause the sound I need to take one out to have a more normal conversation then you need to go through the process or re-inserting them. Was thinking of telling her to just call me on my phone

.
-This might be for all BT devices but I have two phones and an iPad. Having little trouble if I connected to one and then try to connect to another, but, I'm getting there.
