Festo-Rail, but for which tool?
« on: April 21, 2021, 02:19 PM »
Hey guys,

I got a guide rail from FESTO as a gift, but unfortunately have no idea what for... It has fixed grids of 0/15/30 and 45 degrees. I've been searching for a long time on Google image search, but didn't find anything there either. I tried "FESTO angle", "FESTO guide rail", "FESTO adjustable" and also for the "Festo workbench". Can you maybe help me? Thank you very much!

Kind regards
Sascha

Hi Sacha, I think it is an old part for the old Basis table (predecessor of the CMS) or the MFT 1080.

It may not help all that much, but I found this old image, and I believe what Alex says is right. It looks like an early protractor for Festo rail and multifunction table.

Good find Festita. I recognise that table as I had an opportunity long ago to buy one and had a look at it, but I passed because after seeing it in person it was too old and worn for the price the seller asked. The crossing legs also didn't do much good for stability.

It is called the FST 660, and was even a predecessor for the MFT 1080.

Found some more pictures.
