I seen the $150 price on the XT’s earlier and considered whether or not they would be better than the regular ones and now the price is gone and back to normal! Nonetheless, are they indeed better than the regular ones?

I tried out DeWalt and Toughbuilt but like the Speedhorse XT Adjustable the best. I dedicate the set to my knock-down 4'x8' worktable that sits on my TrackTubes. The quick setup is nice and I do use variable height dependent on what type of work I'm doing.

The wide stance of the Bora and Toughbuilt seems best for supporting my MFT type slabs. I really liked the Toughbilt but the adjustment height range was 25"-32" whereas the Speedhorse is 30"-36".

Only thing I didn't like about the Speedhorse is it took 3 time to finally get a set without shipping damage from Amazon. The damage slightly bent the frame making the quick open feature not to work.

That would suck since I bought these in discount and they may not just replace them?  Fingers crossed mine show up in good condition to begin with.

They were $150, then $169, then $150 again … if you’re interested I’d keep an eye on them through Monday and they’ll probably go down again … I’m not sure why the price keeps changing?

Have  always  made  my own saw  horses.
Seen  a nice  set  used  by an  undertaker  once    and  copied  them. Pretty  much  impossible  to see   the same  design   online.
Metal  is  clanky  and  plastic  is  crappy  and  wood  is  King.  [big grin]

I have the very similar Toughbuilt saw horses.  I purchased them about 3 years ago, when I bought my track saw.  I paid about $100.00 for the pair.

The major difference I see is that the Toughbuilt horses weigh 42 pounds each and the Bora horses weigh 19 pounds each.

I guess that Bora must use some aluminum.  The Toughbuilt horses are all steel.

I had two sets of resin saw horses, but they did not stand up (I did like how light they were).

I must say that the Toughbuilt horses live up to their name. Very rugged.  But a chore to carry around.

I have the Speedhorse XL and they weigh 22# each. I looked up the Toughbuilt TB-C700 and they are 23#. I had the Toughbuilt before I got the Speedhorse XL's but like I said above the XL's go 4" higher than the Toughbuilt ( 36" vs 32").

Toughbuilt lists the heavier weight I quoted.  When I get home, I will put one on the scale and check.

I bought the XT's for $150 from Amazzon and then seen they had them for $140.  Sadly, Amazon has no price match or option to say they just lowered the price and so I had to cancel the original order which is in process of being shipped and place a new order which isn't an issue for me but needlessly cost Amazon money to pick, pack, ship to, return ship, and re-stock when they could have just issued a $10 refund...

It appears that the information online that I was working from (43 pounds) was inaccurate.  Your number is probably nearly on-spot.  I weighed one on my bathroom scale (not calibrated and possibly off by +/- 2 pounds) and I came up with 23.9 pounds.  (And yes, my bathroom scale reads in tenths of a pound.)

Wife: So did you weigh yourself this morning?

Husband: Yes.  I’m at 235.3 pounds.

Wife:  Excellent!  You are down two tenths of a pound this month.
