Dash-Board Stuff Is Awesome!

  I just assembled my DB Hinge and Track Stars and I have to say, they are probably the best made products I've ever purchased.  The machining and finish on the parts are excellent and the fit on everything has been very precise.  Setup of the hinge was almost too easy, as opposed to the OEM hinge and my test cuts resulted in perfectly square cuts, as gauged by my large WP square.  I have setup the Track Stars and I have no doubt they will be as much a pleasure to use as the hinge is.  Yes, it was a bit more of a $ investment than other alternatives, however I view all of my Festool purchases as such and these items surpass even Festool's quality, in my eyes.  By the way, it did take a while to get these items, but it seems we're all having to wait a little longer for everything these days.  I have no affiliation, but I am becoming a fan.

Well, I was working with the Track Stars and realized I could use the same extrusion stops for them, that I set for the rail hinge.  This makes using the Track Stars so quick and easy.

I agree totally with the A+ rating on the DB hinge. I do wish they had a precision quick off/on feature for the front hinge. It gets in the way when I am not using the track saw.

I use stops on the MFT extrusion so I can register it quickly and easily.  It works every time, dead on.
