@Cheese Do you happen to make/document templates for this dust collection sheet metal?

Yes @blaszcsj however my printer will only print 8 1/2" x 11" paper so for the 2 end pieces, I had to cut & paste 2 sheets of paper into one.  [smile]  The files are .cad

@Cheese Would you mind sharing them? I would love to build a similar dust collection unit for my delta.

@Cheese nice work. But what's with all those rivets? Shouldn't you have welded that together? [wink]

Hey Ron @rvieceli I sure wish I could have as it would have trimmed a good 6 hours off of the project. I have gas & stick only... [sad]  no MIG and certainly no TIG.  [crying]

There was certainly an over abundance of assemble-mark-disassemble-punch-reassemble-mark...events, the TIG would have been perfect, just align and tack. [smile]

If you guys promise not to laugh, I share my dust collection solution. @Cheese yours is much more elegant. And thanks for the info on the Iturra knobs. I'll definitely be grabbing some of those. One other upgrade I recently made was getting a new tensioning crank from Highland Woodworking. It's their Part 185193. It has acme threads and is just a dream to use.

Cheers,
Barney

@BarneyD   yours looks a lot better than mine though the form of mine is more like Cheese’s, except mine is made of foam core and hot glue. [tongue] Amazingly it’s been held up for at least 20 years. Cheese’s will last at least a century.

That's good information... [smile] it appears to be very similar to the 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ DP190 that I used to assemble a stainless hand rail/railing for the loft master.

Same from you too. Never looked into 3M for that even tho they make everything.
