Very nice.  Is that one piece of glass per door, or 6?  Thank you for sharing.  Bill

I appreciate the kind remarks. The doors are made with Flemish glass and Poplar timber.

Thanks for all the kind remarks guys.  I've picked up a lot of tricks of the trade because of this forum and thanks to the great Festool products it has allowed me to save a ton of time (TS75, Domino XL700!).  As a side business (primary employment is police work) Festool and this forum has allowed my side business to flourish quite nicely.

Very nice work. If this is something you love? Be careful the side business will soon become your only business and you will not have to work a day in your life. Some of us our lucky and get to do what we do for a living and are paid well for it.
Not my first rodeo!!!

Reclaimed wood headboard that will serve double duty. When in the closed position, headboard, when in the open they will act as window shutters for windows on each side of the bed.

Very nice, where do you get the hardware from.  Specifically the wheels on the track.  I haven't been able to find a five spoke design like them before.

Very nice work.  I have a couple of questions for you if I may ask. How much larger do you build the sliding doors compared to the opening size?   Is there a standard that you follow for sizing the doors width and height in comparison to the opening?

Thank you

TXFIVEO

thank you for the info.  Hopefully this yr some time I'll be doing a remodeling of a few rooms and I believe I'll be building a few sets of doors.   Have you used Rustica Hardware for any of your hardware?   They seem to have a wide range of choices.  I've not looked anywhere else, I know their products from their never ending emails.  They do seem to be quality hardware

Thanks again

Satin glass sliding door completed.  Will install tomorrow.  Used 1.5" thick Poplar for the timber and the door will sit lower at the customer's residence. Just put it on my track as a mock fitting.

Nice work!  Really like the look of barn doors!

I see the clips on the outside of the doors at the floor.  I assume you have some kind of spacer against the wall to prevent them from brushing the wall or door frame?  Are those metal with a plastic protector?  Just thinking about protecting the finish from opening and closing.

I'm also curious about these kinds of doors with kids who might open or close them too quickly and whether you've ever had them come off the track.

Thanks for sharing!

@neilc The hardware I've used (Custom Service Hardware in WI) include stops that are installed after the door is installed to limit the travel range of the door  Their website has some videos detailing the recommended installation steps.
