Hi,

I never ran into this problem before, it's late and I can think straight anymore. Still can't let this go...  :)

Why do my Blum full overlay hinges interfere with the drawer boxes using Tandem slides behind the door? I think I haven't used this exact combination and maybe they just don't work together. I am using a 110° full overlay hinge with a 0mm wing plate and 4mm boring distance for a 15mm overlay on a 18mm carcass (3mm reveal between door and cover panel).

Anyone has experience with this?

Thanks!

The drawer needs to be 1” narrower than the opening on a single door, 2” narrower on a dual door.

Other option is to raise the hinge if the drawer is just a roll out.

There are hinges with wider openingangles that can be used with regular inset drawers. (but you can't put drawers at the hingeplate location.) I assembled an ikea kitchen last year for a customer that had such a setup. (I think it were 170° hinges)

When I build stuff myself, I go to a local hardware supplier and explain what I need so I get the right plates and hinges etc. but they sell hettich (for instance when I have thicker than usual doors or something like that)

/edit: I found this: link (It's a UK site, but the partnumbers are probably the same, I think you need the "Blum 155° Zero Protrusion Clip Top Hinge")

Thanks! You are right, the zero protrusion hinges solve the problem and the overlay-by-boring distance-by-hinge plate table seems to be the same so they can just be replaced in place! That is great!

Do you know whether the 155 hinge allows for a door or cover panel right next to it? The 170 hinge does for sure but I can't fine the information for the 155 hinge. Adding a picture of the relevant hinge.

Just to answer my own question: 95% sure they do.
