first use of Domino connectors
« on: September 15, 2022, 09:22 PM »
Our son recently moved to NYC for grad school and his apt is 100 years old.  It's heated by two radiators which needed covers.  Since we live in Texas, I needed a way to get them to him and the connectors seemed to be a good solution since I already have a domino. The Lamello Zeta P2 is a more elegant solution but spending $1600 just for the machine on a one-off need would have been ridiculous.

Here it is once he set it up.  I've finished the second one and will box it up tomorrow.

Nice work, but what does the radiator heat do to the wood?

Never had one before but the old one I'm replacing has been around at least 50 years so I'm not too worried about it.   [big grin]

Which domino are you using, and what connectors did you choose?
