Another small walnut WIP

A small piece of walnut making its way through the shop. This will end as a horizontal form table lamp on a textured steel base. Here’s some progress shots.



Problem child but wonderful grain and good color.

Some repair progress











That last one fixed a small split on the end

This vac is for the drill press. Not sure but it might be time to empty it.

Did it fill the hose? I have had that happen to my CT26. It was still sucking, but couldn't take in any more chips. It's a bit unnerving the first time, and not the easiest thing to unclog

It’s a short hose because it’s stuck under the drill press. But it only had about a cup in the hose.
It wasn’t sucking right and I thought it was clogged. Pulled the hose off. And noticed it

I like the circular patch, nice change of pace.

Today I am sanding a bunch of stuff. Realized  I need to have finish on stuff by Tuesday in order gor it to cure in time for a show.  [eek]

In other news, I figured out how to get a wiring hole all the way through a 4.5 foot piece of hardwood end grain.  It is not particularly a fun experience.  [scared]

More importantly, I also figured out how to fix it when it doesn’t go as planned.  [big grin]

@rvieceli That looks great, as always. You've got a lot going on there, more round patches, partly smooth and partly torch-cut areas on the base metal, and some fantastic figure on the Walnut.

Apparently, I have missed it, if you have explained it somewhere...do you sell these projects? If so, how? Local craft shows, Etsy, personal website?
