Totally OT and shameless plug
« on: April 19, 2007, 02:05 AM »
Someone nominated my wife's blog for an award for the Blogger's Choice Awards.  If you are inclined, go there  http://rosemarygoround.blogspot.com/ and click on the button to vote.

I am shamelessly plugging her here - it is the only list to which I belong.

She's really good at her thing - knitting.

Anyway, she's got a cool site with lots of pix and I think she's ok too!

Clint,
That s a cool site. Some beautiful closeups and they are not easy to take. It makes me want to get out all of my old needles and yarn and put woodworking aside.

Who are you trying to fool John...  You never put those things away and all of us have known all along that you are a closet crocheter.

John and Chris-

I must come out of the closet as a crocheter as well <sigh>. I've never understood all the math required for knitting.  Also, the purling really gets to me...

For me, they are the same  ;D  Though for John it may be different - maybe they are crocheteers ----

Clint,
Nice blog!  My wife knits, and we happen to live around the block from Webs, the big distributor of yarn.

By the way, there is a woodworking connection here.  Have you ever seen how beautiful those looms are?  When we go into Webs, I often take some time to look at them and ponder whether I could build something like that.

Here's a link to the Webs loom page:

Didn't you study English 101?   Everyone knows that "crothceter" is the past tense of "crotchety"!   ;D
