Another newbie to the FOG
« on: July 25, 2023, 01:50 AM »
Greetings from Las Vegas.

New member of the group, otherwise an old-timer [big grin].
I'm a commercial construction project manager and woodworker as a hobby (that apple doesn't fall far from the tree).
Just recently got on the Festool bandwagon with a DF-500. Totally impressed so I bought a Kapex and that went so well I have a TSC55 KEB on order. Quality is addictive, no doubt. I am old enough to remember when most all power tools were high quality. Few left nowadays. I appreciate things that work as they should consistently.

I have been a lurker for a while and gained some great information here already.

Anyways, that's my intro; nice to meet you all.

I'm right here but unfortunately tied-up with work this week and can't go [mad]. I need to plan a vacation day for next year's show.

the Festool trainer, Steve Bace that used to run the festool training facility in LV is now the manager of the local Woodcraft there.
So if you ever have any questions about set ups or tool issues, he'd be the guy to see
