Where's that smoke coming from?
« on: September 17, 2019, 08:39 AM »
While trimming extended cabinet stiles I hit a hidden screw and saw sparks. I didn't really think much about it because I routinely hit the occasional brad or staple. I must have looked pretty funny frantically looking around for the source of smoke while holding the saw with a smoldering bag in my hand...

Kinda glad I didn't have the vac hooked up.

Thank You! I take great pride in my hackery. Now I'm trying to source the Festool asbestos cloth repair kit. Is that naina?

I’m disappointed———was anticipating a "caulk" response.

Looks like the asbestos cloth is NAINA.........

Oh boy. Too many keen memories abound here. Yea, I do seem to have a penchant for using the sawblade to kick stuff every which way.
