TOH Trade School
« on: October 30, 2017, 09:11 PM »
This is first time I have seen this series.  Tommy and the crew have brought on young interns to learn the trades.  I doubt many young people watch TOH but I think it's great that at least someone is making the attempt of bringing young people into an industry with a critical shortage of workers.  Not everyone is college material and you can make a lot of money in the trades verses sitting at a desk all day with a college education making $10/hr.  When I was in high school in the mid seventies, the school offered different programs i.e. auto mechanics to give someone who isn't college bound a leg up on finding a job after graduation.  I don't know if too many school districts do that anymore and it's a shame.  it would be money well spent.
