Title: It's cold down here for the Kangaroos.
Post by: Untidy Shop on August 12, 2019, 07:21 PM
In the last week South Eatern Australia has unusually received several fronts direct from Antarctica. The result has been snow in many areas that rarely receive it - and for the first time in many years very significant amounts of Alpine snow. For these Eastern Greys, snow was a rare event for the species and a once in a lifetime experience for this mob. We call a herd of Roos a mob.

That looks surreal.  It could have been a scene from Young Einstein (one of my kid's favorite movies).

Mmmm - we even have ski fields.  [smile]
But increasingly in most seasons many are assisted by snow making.
