You mean the kids don't come in the box?

Hahahaha that is brilliant. It still amazes me that with all the tech and other toys we throw at our kids, NOTHING can beat turning an empty box into a spaceship. Funny story tonight I had to go into the shop to get something for my five year old and she sees my wall of systainers and says "daddy those are a lot of boxes" I showed her a sys maxi and told her that is her suitcase for vacation next week

No excuses needed for the wife, she's in on it. She gives the honey-do list, I give the tool list. One hand shakes the other. Buying good tools has saved a lot of money overall. Getting kids prepared for shipping is just a bonus.

I thought the episode of _The Woodwright's Shop_ where furniture was classified into two types was on point:

 - boxes
 - platforms

are platforms not boxes you stand upon?
