Mike Farrington and Peter Millard go straight to the top of my list. Woodgrafter is all Festool and has taken the reigns of Paul Marcel. Mike's Woodshop is genuinely enjoyable but not as focused 100 percent on woodworking as he is a plumber with other tool reviews. He's a really nice guy. Obligatory Dave Stanton and Peter Parfitt.

Someone I recently found is Mitch Rudman from High Falls Furniture in Vermont. http://www.youtube.com/user/hffcom. I found his way of making tapered table legs to support a bottom shelf very simple and clever.

There is Jay Bates, Shop Nation, Wood Whisperer, Tyler G from DIY Tyler, Matt Cremona and, if you live in CT like I do, Philipe Do Carmo. There are so many more...

I think it depnds on your style and what you like making. I find all these videos have something to teach and even if I pick up on tidbit of knowledge, I learned something.

I think I know who you’re talking about. I can’t think of his name off hand. I remember a video he made of making an MFT top with his LR32 set. Worked out of his basement in Europe somewhere if we are talking about the same person.

I had the pleasure of meeting Kriss (the guy in those videos) at a Festool Connect event a few years ago. Brilliant mind and wonderful attitude. He will be a success in any avenue he chooses.

It was a high burn out occupation...the whole youtube video sensation in the past decade. Eric Mr Big Erock ended up disappointed and changing direction, but most likely in a way that was good for him personally. Paul Marcel seeks to join the circus. Dave Reinhold surfs. Kreg McMahon, will always be Kreg McMahon. Bryce does what Bryce is comfortable with at Bryce's pace.

The whole social media insanity of the past few years has kind of cycled through and I think it is cool that all of these guys kept track of who they were personally and professionally, and kept moving their own lives forward in spite of any feelings of online pressure.

Personally, I follow guys who are legit doing it all for a living, and because they love it. Guys like Tom Bader @tjbnwi. Thats where I learn the most.

Lots of great channels already mentioned. Another I found recently is Bevelish Creations, fairly new channel. Plenty of nice tools - uses some Festool stuff and all the usual suspects such as woodpeckers, incra, sawstop etc..

I started watching Steve Johnson - Down to Earth Woodworks when I was looking to make an outfeed table for my SawStop. I like that he takes the time to explain things, is well spoken, humble, and he has a lot of various series I've found value in.

Interesting fact, after contacting him with some questions, I discovered he lived only a mile away from me!! He's given helpful suggestions in building my basement wood shop and is the one who introduced me to Festool.

Been under the weather so I spent some time cruising you tube.

I found jennieanddavis ( jennie and davis)

I really liked them. They are not on the how to build stuff but more along running a wood working business lots of info on pricing , build quality, batching, getting finding and holding on customers etc.

they just moved to Tx its a entirely new area to them as they are from ND. So it will be interesting seeing how they are starting from scratch.

If you are into metal working check out Alec Steele, just search for the name. Kid is barely 21 and makes the most insane stuff from metal and is so smart. Has almost 2 million followers. Highly recommend his channel. Does a little woodworking.

Aye, This Old Tony is great, well edited and a funny guy.

I can't watch loud people for long and much prefer the chilled out ones with the easy delivery.
Although Alec Steele is no doubt knowledgable, he still kind of gets on my nerves so I don't watch much of his stuff.

I liked Neil McKinley but it seems he's got sick of Youtube messing about so took a fair bit of his content away.

While researching the MFS I stumbled upon this prolific French YouTuber (in French with modest subtitles but lots of Festool-specific focus and, specifically, some unique jigs, genius workarounds and brilliant alternate uses for various Festool accessories):

Over the last few years, I have found most on this list are Thumbs up...
I would also like to add a few of my faves to the "great ones" you have all posted.

Rex Krueger - Woodworking for humans series is excellent. My favorite Youtube chanel. Frequent vids and excellent communicator.
Next Level Carpentry - Matt has been a carpenter for decades and is sharing much of his workflow and "how to" for those of us who weren't carpenters for 40+ years. Long videos and incredibly informative and good to watch.
A Glimpse Inside - Chris is very well presented and his work is solid and aligned to what my abilities are.
Third Coast Craftsman - excellent tool work and teaching.

I have hundreds subscribed but I find these along with Sellers, Ng, Farrington, Estlea and a few other are always the ones I look forward to and watch as soon as they come out.

To a more technical approach there’s Building Guru, who does technique, tool tips, use and reviews. I find him/them experienced with straightforward no nonsense advise.

Tips From a Shipwright with Lou Sauzedde is a great YT channel about boatbuilding but you'll pick up some tips you can apply to anything. I've been watching for about a year now.

They are just starting their third series building a skiff.

This is the intro to the first series on building a work skiff. Second series covered building a sport dory.

There are some additional episodes covering how he's adapted tools to accomplish specific tasks such as progressive bevel sawing on his monster Navy surplus Crescent shipsaw which is a tilting arbor bandsaw.

Just catching up here. Terrific thread, especially appreciate when FOGgers post not just links, but descriptions of content and quality of video. Having looked up lots of stuff to solve specific problems, the great majority of people who post “fix-it” videos have abysmal video and audio quality, to the point of being unwatchable. So I really appreciate semi-pro or better technical quality, among whom I would include Dave Stanton and Peter Parfitt.
While I appreciate humor, more straightforward demonstrations of processes ranks highest. I would put Festool’s Brent Shiveley near the top for that.

I think I’m going to check out some of the German and French YT videos to brush up on my language skills (of a half century ago!).

What I like about Woodro LeeHyun, Ishitani Furniture, Kobeomsuk etc. that it's all about the craft. Their tools are not "inconspicuous" product placement, they don't do "tool reviews", showcase the latest Woodpeckers gimmicks, or interrupt videos trying to sell you stuff - something that sadly has become a defining feature of US based youtubers.

Along the same lines,

JennsMistake - not production house like the above (technically new hobbyist), but thoroughness and research of proper techniques with cheap tools is edu-taining to watch. Been using a few dominos of late without a domino.

ViTTEN - small custom cabinet/built-in shop. Usually works with plywood/valchromat.

SQUARE RULE Furniture - Similar to Kobeomsuk. Solid wood furniture, joinery, etc.

WOOD DESIGN - No talking. Just laminated furniture.

Tom M. is even better than Tommy Mac on those Rough Cut videos. However, I avoid Tom M.'s own production because it is too long for me, and he takes too much time to get to the point (which is common among YouTubers). Of course, to be fair, his own production doesn't enjoy the kind of professional scripting and video-editing as he did with the Rough Cut. Other woodworkers, of course, may find his length just right or even not long enough!

The Sampson Boat Company. Leo is rebuilding a 110 year old English pilot cutter and his skills are just something else. He does joinery on a large scale which is just amazing to watch and is at least as good as the Japanese temple builders. Yes he does use a lot of Festool and he does know how to use a chainsaw extremely well.

Is it ok to recommend your own channel?

My channel, Carmonius Finsnickeri, is mainly about jigs and way of working. As example I invented the Festool Domino jig for small parts that was appreciated on this forum, have a lot of router jigs as well on youtube. Idea with the channel is not to post frequently just for the sake of it, so tired of seeing all "The Ultimate...crosscut sled, flattening jig...etc" with some fancy intro just to find out it's pretty much the same design as in 100 other films on youtube.

So, I might be off for a few months or even over a year as this time (much due to other reasons) but when I upload it should be something new. Jigs are always new, I might upload way of work videos and there it's a bit more difficult to decide what's new.

Anyway, I think my latest jig, "The Superjig" might be worth watching (as well as my router jig play list) if you're interested in jigs or woodworking as a whole. It's a super accurate box joint/tenon jig on steroids and not like all the others. I call it a gamechanger and I think it is.

Lately, the YouTube algorithm has been throwing quite a few Korean woodworkers into my feed. The most recent channel I've been watching is WOODBRO.

The video production and projects aren't quite as refined as what you'd find on a channel like Squarerule, but I like some of their design aesthetics and I've been able to glean numerous tips from the videos.

Another Korean woodworker found his way into my feed. He calls himself the Amateur Woodworker. His videos are mostly him woodworking with background music and occasional Korean/English subtitles.

Projects include desks, chairs, trays, and jigs with a mixture of power and hand tools.
