What could be an interesting idea would be to have a FOG Wiki to complement our forum since there is a TON of information here that could be summarized in well written articles in a Wiki and could be linked there more consistently than tracking down this and that thread from days yonder here.
How I would see them complementing each other would be to discuss a subject on the forum and once we reach a conclusion / solution it could be edited in the Wiki as a best practice article.
The downside of this approach is obviously how many of us are willing to write those articles after we get the info we needed from the discussion thread...
I document some of the things I research online in my
personal wiki, but this is more of a scrapbook for myself and the random search engine user who has a similar problem.
We uses
Confluence at work for many things including the knowledge base feature to great results in sharing information with a team.
