Sys for cordless

Now that Festool have a reasonable cordless lineup, how about some multiple tool/battery/charger inserts for the bigger Systainers? So you could group a few drills, jigsaw and multitool, a few batteries and charger, for example. Even individual inserts that can sit side by side in the larger Systainers, so you can configure to suit your needs?

The closest equivalent is the Energy Set SYS, which used to have room for two SCA-8 chargers and up to 4 batteries, and came with at least 2 batteries, if not 4 (I think 2 x 4.0 Ah + 2 x 5.2 Ah), and now it comes with 2 batteries and a dual charger (but hopefully still space for 4 batteries??).

There are too many combinations of cordless tools to make dedicated combination inserts for them.  Some of the tools already have combination inserts (usually a T-18+3 paired with the TID or PDC).

From some of the pictures I've seen, it seems to make more sense to me to take an Energy Set SYS and individual tools, utilizing the space from the charger to carry additional accessories (bits, etc).

Otherwise, Kaizen foam is your friend, and you can mix and match just about anything you'd like, including brands.
