I wish Festool would make their HK85 circular saw available as a 110 volt option for UK site work.

The only way that would happen is with a 32 amp plug as the normal 16 amp plugs won't supply enough wattage.
Then it won't work with the extractors which won't supply enough power through the inbuilt socket.

While true in theory, Makita, Mafell, and others managed to produce circular saws with up to 400mm blades that run on 120V 15amp circuit. After all Festool has "2200W" 110V router.
HK85 does not draw anywhere near advertised 2400W even at full depth of cut on hardwood.
