This thread was prompted by reading a post from @FestitaMakool yesterday. He noted several new items for the new year and I thought there needed to be a folder on the FOG that would hold them all...new year...new folder. 

One of the more interesting items was a series of SYS³ Systainers that offered attic covers, 577346, 577347 & 577348.








I also noticed the addition of the Energy Box Systainer 577133.



Well that's just a start, the LS 130 is missing from all catalogs along with the Shinex from the UK catalog. The CT 15 has new options and the list goes on. Feel free to add.

Sure wish they would bring to tablesaw to us in NA.  I'm needing one bad as all the other jobsite saws are to cheap for what I want and the mafell is just to high priced.

They won't, though.  It would eat into SawStop sales and/or they'd rather you just bought a SawStop instead.

The SYS-MFT needs that soft-close lid, badly.  I can't even count the number of times I've accidentally slammed that thing shut or had it almost fall on my fingers.

You're allover that one... ...that was exactly my thought also. Can't tell you the number of times it's open and then a breeze comes along.

Just wonder if it will only fit the SYS³ systainers.

BS 105 gone?

They have deleted the BS 105 from their websites in Europe, so it seems indeed to be gone. Unlike the more common format (75 x 533) used for the BS 75, as far as I know one could get the appropriate belts (105 x 620) only from Festool: probably it was not selling enough.

The good thing are the new battery operated vac, there has been demand for so many years for a battery vac fitting in a systainer stack, incl. from me, they finally listened to the customers, but they need to catch up, compare to all the various kinds of Milwaukee battery operated vacs (I own several kinds of those).

    I'm uncertain why the LS130 is being dropped by Festool. We have sold a number of them in a small market in Chattanooga. People who do a lot of renovation of older houses seem to really like them. I guess it's like the Sys Vac...people on the fence want them once they depart the scene.
