Not today, but earlier this week.... I ordered the wrong hose end...
Festool 204822... but that one has a permanent (?) bypass. Great...
I guess for the oldstyle D27 hose I need the 202346? ![Huh?! [huh]](https://www.festoolownersgroup.com/Smileys/default/huhsmiley.gif)
Ha, I am amazed to see they made this. Another sign they closely watch this forum.
And I can't understand why Festool keeps doing everything that has to do with vacuum cleaners wrong.
PERMANENT bypass ... really? For the small sanders, ok, but how about when you're doing clean up or have a saw attached or a router? Then you want maximum suction. So you can't have this nozzle installed on your hose. Who uses his vac only with one type of tool?
Why oh why didn't they make the nozzle with an adjustable ring like plenty of other vacuum cleaner brands do? Twist it one way, the valve opens, twist it the other, it closes? I'm baffled.
