Ordered two of the new dustbags for the 2 Pro ETS 125s that I ordered for my kids christmas.  Recieved an E today stating that they will be shipped March 23  [scared]  [crying].  Oh well, guess I'll give them DTSs in stead.  Oh, and I ordered more DTS sand paper, really don't understand why dealers don't make 10 packs of all the grits.

Can't believe how fast the delivery of my list was, I ordered on the 9/11 and it arrived already the 11/11, I wasn't home and first saw the notice that it was already and waiting to day.

    HL 850 set up
1 Festool standard planer head HK 82 SD 484520 i didn't really need to get a new head but the price difference between a new blade and a new head wasn't that great in this case and the original planer head that I got with the used HL 850 planer did look a little worse for the wear..
1 Festool fine rustic planer head for HL 850 HK 82 RF 484521
1 Festool Rebate guide for the HL 850 FA-HL 484512
1 Festool PA-HL 484513 parallel guide for HL 850 simple and solid
1 Festool WA-HL 485018  The angle guide for the HL 850 is very impressive quality large size easy to mount.
    1 Festool Systainer T Loc Sys 3 T LOC 497565

Tool box stacks now have three..
    1  Festool SORTAINER SYS 4 TL-SORT/3 200119
    1  Festool Systainer T Loc Sys 5 T LOC 497567
1 Festool Systainer Cart SYS CART RB SYS 495020
My third Sortainer tool box stack is now a reality. Now I just have to work out a sys port system for the tools

    1  Festool Splinter guard FS-SP 5000/T 495209

2 Festool Clamps FSZ 120mm 2Stück 489570, these were expensive for this type of clamp but now I'm set for working with my MFS jigs..

1 Festool joiner for guiderail FSV 482107 stupid me I need two, had forgotten that I needed to order two pieces per connection.

Figured this was the best spot for a first post along with first set of Festool purchases.... and to have a full realization of just how far I went this week.  Doing it on different transactions doesn't fully bring my personal appreciation for how much I smacked the Amex (small business double points ;) ).

    • CT26 Vacuum
    • Boom Arm Bundle
    • Oneida DD
    • RO 90 DX Rotex Sander
    • Granat 120 hundred pack
    • Granat 220 hundred pack
    • Granat 320 hundred pack
    • Hard Pad for RO 90
    • Hard polish pad for 6" sander (use on my 6" Bosch)
    • Domino 700 XL with guides kit
    • Systainer 8mm, 10mm tenons
    • 12x26x750 beech tenons
    • 2x screw clamps
And I'm trying really really really hard not to get a HK or TS saw, or MFT, or jigsaw.... [scared]

Then I won't tell you how much I LOVE my TS55 then :) I literally think its the best tool I've ever purchased in 32 years of working with wood. You'd probably really hate the amazingly straight and clean cuts you can get with it.

Thanks fellas!  I think I might have sold myself on the TS75 yesterday.  I mill my own lumber from our woodlot and have approximately 27 sugar maple 2.5ish x 6s that are fully seasoned but incredibly unsquare.  After free-hand resawing one on a 14" bandsaw and then making a sled for another, this sure ain't repeatable.  The straight edge on the circular saw was okay and now those edges are ready for the jointer, buuuuuut this sure would be easier on a track saw .....and I still can double my Delta points for another 15 days on the Amex ;)

Yep.  I talked myself into the TS75 and added a 40" rail.  But couldn't stop there, so I added the Carvex 420 PS and base plate kit.

Just made my first cuts on that ugly maple.  As it was my first time using a plunge saw I learned about kickback on the first cut.  Don't plunge and start cutting at the same time.  Even though I have had my share of kickbacks with the chainsaw (I plunge cut instead of backcut) it certainly startled me with this cir saw because it was the first 2 inches.  After figuring out to plunge first then cut at depth I made a number of square, ready for glue(ish) cuts and can say the only other saw I've fallen in love with on the first day was my Stihl MS461.  Wow wow wow!

Oh yeah....the Carvex....it works like a jigsaw.  Festool jigsaw blades are pretty nice though.

Darn you Festool!  You might be worse than crack.  2 days, $5,000+, and I'm still looking at your website wondering if there are other ways you can make my life easier.

Had to drive to Las Vegas and pick my wife up from the airport this morning, so naturally stopped by Woodworkers Emporium to look at Festool stuff.  Ended up buying a Domino XL700 set and a few odds and ends.  When the sales guy told me the total of "Fifteen Thirty Four," I asked my wife if she had a $20 bill .. when she hesitated I told her I would just charge it.  Not sure if she knows or not?  Oh well ...
