I liked the Vac one so much that I ordered the two.  I already have two of the Virutex vac clamps but bought the Festools because of the versatility of clamping options.  There have been comments regarding the price of these but compared to the industrial systems that are available, these and the Virutex are deals.  There are systems that the glass industry uses the are essentially the Vac I one on a pedestal ($3600.00) or table mount ($4000.00)

I got my hands on some lightly used Festool's last weekend from a guy who sold out all of his tools.

T18+3 Plus
Centrotec 2015W
PS 300 EQ-plus
TS55R with 2x 1400mm guide rails (going to sell the saw since i already got an TS55)

And also a DS400 sander and a d27/d36 cleaning set in old systainers.

The T18+3, Centrotec, PS300 and TS55 looks brand new, and the DS400 is in great condition.  [big grin] [thumbs up]

Once you have one, then you have glasses for what to make, and everything appears to be domino'able.

Finally! I bought a 2nd MFT/3 Table. Wanted it for years. Hope to pick up the stabilizer bars and connector bar when I pick up the table.

Might be a while before I make a "big" Festool purchase since I do need to get a bandsaw and a jointer planner sometime down the road. Lots of accessories I could use. Maybe that will feed the Festool bug for a while... :'(

Haha - I was thinking about that today. This will be my home garage shop with everything put away when not in use. i have 3 large steel racks already but need to do some reorganizing/spring cleaning. The racks I have are 24" deep, so I may move those and use for Totes for regularly house stuff and build out half of one wall for tool storage and work station.

I'm betting that has been discussed around here plenty, so I'll have to start digging the threads.

I also need to uplift my Ford Transit connect with shelving for my Systainers and work supplies.

Building your workshop is a very good way to get started. There are some very good workshop builds on here, some with very sexy systainer storage options.

Hi Matte,

That's just the opposite what others would do: change Mafell for Festool.
Any reasons for that?

Hi neeman. First i bought the mafell mt 55 cc. After that the lo50e router. Butt that was a bad one. So i sold the router and bought an of1400. I also want to route with the guiderail and that is not possible with the mafell guide rails. The next thing was that i really liked the plug in cord. Mafell also didn't had that. So for me the choice was clear. Go and sell the mafell and get the festool one. I really like the idea of working in a system.
