Well, went nuts and bought a Domino, 2200 router with the accessories, blade holder and a MFT/3. This green slope sure is slippery  ;D

Here one man's "nuts" is another man's "normal".

By the way, hope you got the right domino to match your router for the MFT table setting .. 2200 goes with the 700, otherwise you'll need to buy a 1400 router to match a 500 domino and a 700 domain for the 2200 [huh]

... and remember, if you put anything on the MFT that's not Festool green a higher power will instantly tun you into a toad and all you'll be able to say is "Makita"

Hi Everyone,

So I got this a little while ago, but thought I'd share as this is my last Festool purchase. Kapex + UG Stand. Really great I love this saw. I am about to build a cabinet for when it is the workshop that will use the support wings.

Hi @relAnd and Wellcome to the forum. Nice first purchase you have there. Will you be connecting your Kapex up to a Festool extractor? maybe that might be your second purchase! or do you have some other extractor you can use.

I know!! They're awesome, I've 3 on a Sys-roll. Have now eliminated dragging the great tool chest about, as all the hand tools and accessories are in the drawers now. No more digging through a box only to realise what you need is on the bottom. I now know exactly where everything is, and can retrieve it instantly.

Also they look wicked as well!!

Hi DB10, thanks!

It actually isnt my first purchase, my first was a Ct26 + TS55 a few years ago. So Ive been hooked since then!  [scared].

So yes I have connected it up to my Ct26 it makes such a difference not having to deal with the dust. Especially as I work in a 2 car garage where my wife parks her car so being dust free is very important!

My domino XL was delivered today with a systainer for the 500, seneca adapter arrives tomorrow, went with that because I probably won't use the bigger dominos as often as I think I will with the 500 set.  I do have $500 worth of giftcards to woodcraft, I could buy another systainer, or I could pony up some more money and get the TS 75 which is what I'd really like to get, decisions decisions.

Just bought this set

https://www.gerschwitz.net/sys-centrotec-hd-edition-2015-200909-festool.html

It was a impulse buy, But I really liked it very nice quality kit when seen in person. Festool rep said they won't be selling the auger bits other than in this kit.

If they don't offer the auger bits separately I think I'll storm Castle Festool and burn all the villagers (any other nasty stuff).

It would be insane not to offer them as a separate item. I'm not going to triplicate everything I already have just for auger bits.

This lack of kit modularity for the Centrotec stuff is really starting to get on the nose [mad]

So what happens if you have one of these sets and one or two of your auger bits gets damaged or lost?  Do you just have gaps in your set or do Festool come to the rescue.

Yea thats the set.

E D Elson Ltd had it for 275 GBP + Vat.

I didn't expect to see it or buy it, but when I did, I thought man thats a nice bit of kit..

This was a total impulse buy
I got some projects when I get back to the states that I can use this on.

Will make the job a lot easier.

Oh yea, I picked up a  New style Tanos 3  . Pretty slick lots of storage.

Different style drawers.

Kev my brother from another mother,

I don't know who made the auger bits.

The socket and ratchets in the set were made by WERA
The ratchet had the WERA symbol stamped on it.

Got a TS55 REQ
2 1400 guide rails+bag (festool 90 years logo)
2 clamps
2 300 clamps
1 ratchet clamp

I already had a ts55 sold it to get a new one (I've done this twice now)

If you look after them you can get a good price second hand. It didn't cost me much to swap my 5 year old saw for a new one
