Also got a returned Domino XL at a discount that had never been out of the systainer and never registered from my local dealer who was forced to accept it back from a large customer (who wouldn't pay the bill from 2 years ago). Also same with a vac sys (no pump). Crazy week and very happy.

That worked out well. Expensive day, but very discounted at that haha! At least the pump is the easiest thing to sub into the VacSys system and the fittings are readily available.

Not sure why a dealer would want a very-large customer who doesn't pay their bills

I snagged the OF 2200 off recon yesterday. Just happened to be near my iPad when the slack notification popped up. Apparently it shipped today.

I grabbed the new CXS 12 this week to replacement brushed Bosch GSR12. The fit, finish, 12V battery (which works on Sysrock), and expandability with attachments are fantastic and is what drew me to this drill/driver. The balance is amazing!

However, I'm leaning towards returning it. The sound from this unit is not just loud, but generally just unpleasant (much like a hairdryer or Dyson vacuum). This is any time the drill is set to speed level 7+ or on drill mode - under 7, it's quite pleasant. I know this was a concern from the community soon after it was announced, but I didn't expect a small drill/driver to sound this way.

I put together the following video (very positive, minus the sound) and am currently contemplating returning it. I could see myself wanting to use this inside cabinet carcasses or around the house for general DIY work.

Picked up a sys 50 table saw on September 7th. I'm in my 60's and live in the Boston area. I taught high school shop classes and ran a construction/cabinet business for 40 years. Teaching woodworking was the greatest time of my life. I lit the flame for many kids to get into the trades and "do what you like". During summers, weekends, and school vacation time I would hire teachers and students to work on kitchen renovations and do finish work. I have been spoiled with all the help over the years and now I am back to working alone. I now set up, clean up, and do all the tasks that my helpers use to do.
So my old makita table saw was my workhorse for years. Small quick cuts on the ground using the cross bar on my saw horse as an outfield was how I ripped many miles of thin strips. Now that I'm older and wiser I upgraded to the new Sawstop compact table saw (CTS) last year. Wow what a great saw in use, but to heavy to move around for me. One day as I was removing the saw out of my van I pulled hard to get the 70 pound saw to move and smashed my fingernail real bad. At that moment I realized it was not so "compact".
For a year I have been following the release date for the sys 50. I called on the 6th of September when they were ready for sale and picked mine up on the 7th. I ran it through some cuts in the shop to test it out and I love it. Im going to use it mostly for ripping on jobs, I have the stand to use as an outfield support. I'm looking forward to some reviews from users and I will post back in a few months after I use it on my next kitchen.

I do find the KSC 60 does not launch small cuts offs like the KS 120.

Nice haul, how it the ksc60, very interested in adding one and hoping it can do all of my site work but virtually every online review is a paid advertisement.

Sorry for the delay, just noticed this. For some reason I did not receive a notification.

I bought the saw for punch list items primarily. With the 5.2 batteries the lasted a full day of on/off cutting leaving the light on all the time. My guess is run time was a couple of hours. Charge time was less than an hour on the new batteries that came in the energy set I bought with the saw.

I accidentally found that there is a miter lockout on the saw. Lift up on the lock, shift left and the miter lock is overridden. As I mentioned, none of the small cutoffs got lunched like the 120 has a tendency to do.

The one thing I do wish this saw had is the twist to bevel in the rail rod like the 120.

Would I buy another one? After using it for a couple of weeks—yes.

Nice thanks for the info, I decided to order one as well. See how it is, hopefully I get comparable performance and functionality in just a lighter more compact package
