I just pulled the trigger on a DTS400 REQ

Congrats - I think you’ll love it. I Certainly love mine. Super useful for all sorts of applications.

Picked up a really nice ETS EC 150 used. Good price, great condition, 3 years old.

Used it all afternoon and seriously in love with it. So easy to use. I think this will usurp the DTS400 as my favourite sander.

Hi @CeeJay

The ETS EC 150/3 is my "go to" sander as well. I have both hard and soft pads. It looks like you may have some Granat - i now only use Granat as it lasts well and does not clog.

Thanks @Peter Parfitt.

Yes I have a good stock of 150mm Granat, plus some Rubin, as I also got a used RO150 earlier this year.

Your excellent  videos were a big part of my research into upgrading my sanders.

So with the RO150, the ETS EC 150/3 plus the DTS I’m calling that ‘done’ for sanders for me. I know I can hear some sniggers at the back there....

Anyway a bit of patience and waiting for the right ones to come up on Gumtree (Craigslist for Aussies) that’s all 3 now for less than the price of a new RO150 and DTS.
