So I've got the old (year or more) green and black ribbed hose for my Mini. It obviously had issues with catching on workpieces, even on the catch guard track attachment. I put some aftermarket wire loom type stuff (the braided look) that makes it very similar to the woven black and green that comes standard now. It does not help a ton, but some. They make that anti-static hose now with the power cord underneath the canvas jacket or whatever material it is, but that thing is $340! My vac is too small to buy their boom system.
It's driving me crazy. I flattened an oak slab two days ago with a homemade sled and lots of back and forth had me going nuts. What are my solutions for this, preferably that don't cost more than $280!!! The tools work too good for this to be as frustrating as it is.
