TSC 55 REB disassemble

I will change the 10017862   Protective cover but I can't get the bolt out.

It is pressed fit and can be pushed/hammered out towards the handle/motor side.
What model is it? Looks like the handle is not blocking the pin and you don't have to remove motor housing.

Good luck. Seems like they made an improvement. Press fit was on all previous models. I assume this one too. Handle side of the pin has tiny teeth/knurling around perimeter visible as is. Those chew into the aluminum housing securing it in place.

That may well be the case. It has to hold up in the new part.

I found that on all TS saw I tried there is a little play between the pin and plunge part of the saw. Such that it can wobble laterally 0.1 mm or so, the pin is also slightly undersized. What I like on Mafell is that it's bronze bearings with perfect fit.
