Systainer Inserts
« on: February 22, 2007, 05:41 PM »
Hi Christian

I was wondering if it is possible to purchase, the black insert that the small colored boxes sit in, as I have a couple of sys1 cases that I would like to convert to hold screws. The Sys 1 box (487552) is a great case. But I already have the cases and the small colored boxes already.

Thanks

Paul

That's good to hear Christian.  When I tried to buy one a couple of years ago, I was told that they were not available so I made my own.  But mine (made of wood) takes up more space than the one from Festool.

On a related subject:  As you and I discussed about three years ago, the plastic inserts are quite flimsy.  I have big cracks in a couple of mine.  Are the inserts for all tools now available?
Cheers,
