Hello everyone,
My TS55 went intermittent today, halfway through a critical job
![Mad [mad]](https://www.festoolownersgroup.com/Smileys/default/mad.gif)
After having checked all of the obvious stuff, I discovered that the motor would run if the cord was bent just where it entered the connector, indicating a loose wire or fault inside the connector itself. I got the job finished by bending the cord round into a curve and fixing it to the Plug-it using duck tape in the classic get-out-of-jail fashion. The TS55 is the only tool I own which uses this connector, so swapping it out isn't an option.
Is it possible to get inside this connector to fix the fault? Or do I have to buy a whole new cord? I can already guess what the answer's going to be .....
Thanks very much in advance.
Kevin
