Oil Sponge Applicator
« on: July 27, 2022, 07:40 PM »
Hi all,

I use oil finishes a lot, and I noticed that Festool used to have an oil kit, with a sponge applicator.
It seems that this kit is no longer sold.
Does anyone know if the applicator with the sponge is still sold, or where I can find it?
From what I understand, it was quite good and had good reviews.
There isn't anything similar on the market, and it comes in very handy...

Does anyone use another type of sponge applicator that they can recommend?

Thanks

Unfortunately the SurFix sponges are long gone. I managed to secure a couple of packages of them last July/August and they were difficult to find back then.

The internet has been pretty well cleaned out, maybe check a local Sherwin Williams or Benny Moore store.
