FT updated the EKAT system. Not sure if it was mentioned, anyway just a FYI.

Oh yessss! Finally you can hotlink straight to EKAT instead of being redirected to some service page where it requires another 2 clicks to get into it.

Copying a parts list into Excel is also easier now.

Happy with the upgrade  [big grin]

Ooh nice, there are 3 language settings.

But the Festool USA and plain Festool EKAT are still different??

EDIT: no, hotlinking apparently still not possible for other than plain German settings?? I get the login form if I try to get straight into Dutch language EKAT.

Oh well, I'm happy enough with Dutch, English and German language skills, as long as I don't have to speak or write the latter  [cool]

Looks like an improvement in general, only thing I think is bad is that the part where you actually can identify the parts, the picture, is a lot smaller than it was. And I thought it was already too small with the old view.

You can zoom in with mouse wheel, you know that, right? Also the part list folds away if you like (right side is a button).

Yup, and it’s because FT think that they attract much younger customers nowadays  [big grin]
But then again, they will newer study these drawings after all  [scared]

But I didn't know this. That's handy.

LOL. Yeah thats a minimize button  [tongue]

More of a IBM RS/6000 guy myself  ;D Incredible they sell now for a few 100. Back in the day we paid well over 100K (ex the training). Just the memory upgrade (256 MB) was the price of a luxerus car. Those where the days  [cool]
