Hello all

First time poster. I have a question regarding the Festool Vecturo OSC 18.

Does anyone know the difference between the Order Number: 574849 and the 576592?

On the festool website they show the 576592 (Basic Set) among the other 2 set options (bare/with battery+charger). If I search the site for the 574849 it says this item is no longer available and links back to the 576592. The reason I bring this up is that when googling ‘Festool Vecturo OSC 18 Basic Set’ in the mass of the 576592 results that are returned there are a few sites selling what looks like the same kit but numbered 574849 and they seem to be at a good price (UK).

I’m trying to detect if this is an older model (looks the same to me) or perhaps comes with slightly different accessories. One site seems to not show the full specs so I’m hesitant to order. I want to ring them but it’s out of hours right now (Sunday)

Does anyone know if there’s a major difference here between the order numbers and what it might mean?

Thanks for your time

The Systainer got changed to 3, I guess. That resulted in everything in a Systainer getting a new number.

Thanks Coen. So nothing different other than the box it comes in?

Here's a place with 574849 and it's pictured with a Systainer T-Loc. Same everything else, so like Coen wrote, it's just a difference of storage.

As far as I know, no.

The box is a bit of a downgrade... weirdly reversed handle, weird height.

Thank you, Coen.

I picked it up. £360 for the Basic-Set. An absolute steal in my eyes so I bit their hand off 👍
