CT intake port I.D.
« on: June 25, 2021, 09:05 PM »
Can anyone tell me what the intake ports I.D. where the hose plugs in on CT36 but Im assuming its the same for most CT's or what is the O.D. of the hose end that plugs into the vac.  I want to order some hose parts (  [eek] non festool) ahead of my CT arriving so I can make up a few extra hoses but want to make sure Im ordering the correct stuff.

Thanks, isnt 2.5 kind of the standard size for shop vacs?  So they wont work on a CT?  Not that im trying to use one on my CT but the adaptor I found is 2.5 which sounds like it isnt going to work if it 58mm  [sad]

Most standard (US) shop vac hoses will fit directly into the CT port. I am never sure when I read 2.5" on vac hoses and accessories if that is ID or OD because it seems to be used as a general nomenclature for which things will work with which other things.
