TS 75 Imperial depth gauge?
« on: June 25, 2014, 11:15 PM »
I just purchased a TS 75 and while flipping through the manual out falls a 2" marked sticker.  It looks at first like it would be the imperial depth gauge, except the TS 75 does 3.75" and the sticker doesn't even begin to fit  in the depth gauge area.  Can anyone tell me what this is for?

As you can see in the picture it's nearly half an inch too short, marked upside down, not curved and FAR too wide to be the depth gauge.

That's not for the TS75.

Looks like it's for the TS55 as copcarcollector said. Here's a picture of being applied to a TS55:

Awhile back, a forum member made imperial depth scales for the TS 55 and the OF1400, which are great.  Maybe he did one for the TS 75, or could make.

I have not been successful at making one for the TS75 yet and not looking likely.

But have sold many TS55 labels :)

I wonder why they didn't make one for the TS 75... oh well. Anybody want this for their TS 55?  PM me your address and I'll drop it in the mail.

I emailed rrmccabe about this, and he told me that because the TS75 scale is not linear (the TS55 is) he could not print it and have it look good. I was kinda bummed and am still looking for a solution as well.

Not sure if the member is still active?  I never installed mine as I just use a couple of tic marks on my 75.
It's The FOG!  Just rotate the screen.

This might not be the correct location for this post, but..... I purchased a used TS75 (Imperial) and have noticed that the depth setting is not correct.  For example, when cutting 3/4" MDF I must set it to 7/8" to just get through the MDF.  I was cutting Deck boards at 1 and 1/8" thick and I had to set it to 1 and 3/8" to get through the cut.  The TS75 did not have the owners manual with it, but I assume I am simply missing an adjustment on the saw itself, right?  Does any one know how I can adjust this.  Thanks for the assistance in advance.

Is it possible the saw blade is not 210mm? There are also two sides to the pointer. One side is for when on the rail and other side for when it is off the rail. Check to see if it starts at zero while on the rail on a solid surface like your work bench.
