CT Mini issues

Good morning all,
I have a CT mini 456784. I have ordered what is called a "conversion kit", part number 201712. It looks like it replaces both the circuit board and the switch. Does anyone have instructions on how this is installed?

Is that to add BT to older Mini's?
Did you take a look at the exploded view in EKAT?

I wasn't aware that there was a BT module for the OG MINI/MIDI; I thought it was only for the CT-26 and larger?
If there is one, I've been missing out all this time; I have an OG MINI, a 26, and a MIDI-I, and only have BT on the 26 and MIDI-I.

Yeah, but for $96? Might just as well sell it used and get a new Mini with new smooth hose?
I don't even know what this conversion kit does, it's just my guess from the picture in EKAT.

Looking at the EKAT, it's just the switch gear for the manual/automatic and speed controller.
I don't understand why they call it a "conversion kit", but my guess is because it "converts" the draw from the AC socket into a relay to power on the collector?
Each of the different extractors has a part set called "conversion kit", and it looks nothing like the Bluetooth module. The Bluetooth module is a completely separate item on the 26 and 36 diagrams.
Here are two different "conversion kits" for other extractors in the Festool lineup:

I should clarify...my vacuum runs for a second then shuts off in either manual or auto mode. Fault tracing has led me to the circuit board and/or the switch. In the EKAT both of those items show the same part and part number (the conversion kit). Is it possible the circuit board has been eliminated?

Do you have a photo of the circuit board? Or did they cast everything in epoxy?

Everything is cast in epoxy. The part(s) arrive today. I'll post a pic of whatever I get.

The kit arrived today and I am happy to say it exceeded my expectations. As you can see by the photos it comes with the circuit board, switch, outlet, wiring, hardware and instructions with a wiring diagram. My mini is a happy vac.
