I have a 3.0 Ah BPC 18 Li-Ion battery that sort of charges but only registers the first light on my Festool drill. It's older - so is it done and if so, what is the best way to dispose of it (recycle) properly.

I take my dead batteries to local Lowes, around customer service there is recycle bins for batteries.
